Cognitive Psychology

These lecture notes and study guides were developed to complement Smith and Kosslyn’s Cognitive Psychology: Mind and Brain textbook, but can be adapted for any course that addresses human cognition and cognitive neuroscience. Pinel and Edward’s A Colorful Introduction to the Anatomy of the Human Brain is an excellent resource for those learning the anatomy of the human brain. This coloring book not only covers the different parts of the brain, but also summarizes their main functions in human cognition. Finally, the Demos and Links page provides access to various examples of cognitive (neuroscience) concepts.
